Original Swiss Army Model 1911 ammunition pouch

designed for the Schmidt-Rubin Model 1896/11 (G96/11) rifle.


Crafted from durable leather and featuring the early-production rivet variant made of aluminum with a brass core (later examples were manufactured entirely from aluminum),

this pouch represents a desirable and increasingly scarce piece of Swiss military equipment.


The pouch holds four GP11 stripper clips (charger clips), providing a total capacity of 24 rounds. Swiss soldiers were typically issued two pouches, allowing them to carry 48 rounds of ammunition in the field.


Each pouch is stamped with the manufacturer's mark, military acceptance stamp, and year of production. The leather displays an attractive age-related patina that highlights the authenticity and historical character of this military item, now over 90 years old.
