The Impact® 4000 must be calibrated upon initial installation, before it is mounted on a weapon. You will need to recalibrate the Impact® 4000 every time you change locations significantly, approximately 50 kilometers or more. The Impact® 4000 must be removed from the weapon before calibrating. Calibrate the Impact® 4000 outdoors and away from large metal structures or objects. Calibration is important for capturing accurate target alignment and for capturing the slope angle and wind direction relative to your target.
