OLOUR CASE HARDENING

Use a suitable strong steel box with lid. Pack the box half full of CHARCOAL

place the Polished parts into the box -

pack more CHARCOAL on top of and around the parts.

Put a good fitting lid onto the box

§witch on the furnace and bring to 800 degrees C.

Place the box into the furnace

When the furnace reaches again 800 degrees C , time the COLOUR HARDENING process

Leave the box in the furnace for 1 h 15min

Remove the box from the furnace (The box will be glowing red)

Remove the lid from the box using long tongs.

Empty the content (coal and component) into a large container of cold water

Remove parts, dry and laquer
